Creating a Stained Glass effect using Digital Image software - part 2

Once I apply all the effects and coloring that I want. I then name and save the image compilation.
I save in the PNG Plus format so that when I open the image again - all of the layers that make up
this image will be available for me to work with.
This particular image compilation has only 2 layers - The base colors and shapes layer, and the top
layer of just the lines .
When I have named and saved my image. I can then click on the Effects menu and choose
Change Hue and change the coloring on the Base layer, and then change the color on
the Lines layer if I choose to.
Each change - is named and saved as a new image compilation.

Another thing I can do - to add another layer and/or effect -
I create  a new layer with actual glass graphics I have from Spectrum Glass.
I choose a glass graphic similar in coloring to the colors I have added via the
Fill with color gradient options. I group 4 glass graphics together and place
behind the other layers. Next I use the Effects menu >> Transparency >>
Full - option on the Colored shapes layer so that it blends and shows through
to pick up some of the texture and or coloring from the Glass layer.

**Note: since I do have actual glass graphics, I can if I choose to actually use these
graphics as my FILL patterns for my shapes layer. But for the sake of this online - how I do it tutorial
I wanted to show you some of the Filters and Effects you can achieve just using the filters available
via Digital Image software.

My graphic compilation is now made up of 3 layers and I can apply effects to
any/all of them.

Any changes to any of the layers - create a new compilation which I name and save
as new images.
I name and save images in a location/folder on my computer or external drive,
names that I will remember and associate with such images.

Here are some of my creations that you are welcome to snag

Additional Information:

Find information about Plug-ins and Digital Image
**please note that not all plug-ins will work in Digital Image software.
And I have heard from a few gals that some plug-ins may not work in
older versions of Digital Image such as Digital Image Pro version 9.
And even older versions of Microsoft Picture it - do NOT support any Plugins.
For this webpage and for creating the stained glass effect, etc. I used
Microsoft Digital Image Suite 2006.
Find current information for Microsoft Imaging Software at:

Find the Almathera bevel plugin at this site
**the bevel plugin is part of a set of plugins available in the zipped file.
Once installed in your Digital Image plugins folder it will be listed as
A Beveller
