Creating a Tic-Tac-Toe
board using
Microsoft Picture It
- Photo 2002 program in combination
with the PCCrafter Deluxe
Browser
For this project I will
be using graphics located within my PC Hugbug Deluxe Browser and the tic-tac-toe
template - which is also located in a folder I created in the browser.
Open Picture It program,
choose to create a blank document
then in workspace, create
a square, from the "Add Something" menu
Then using the margins
located at top and sides of workspace, size the square to size you want
for a board.
For my example I will
make my square 6 x 6
Minimize your Picture
It Program,
and Open HugBug Deluxe
Browser
Next I open my hugbug
browser deluxe, and begin to obtain the
graphics I may want to
use for my project.
I have a separate
folder where I store all of my blank templates
located within the browser.
I will choose the TTT template, and
place my cursor over
image, press mouse key and hold down
the shift key and drag
the image to the "tray" section of my
Picture It program -
DO NOT DRAG TO WORKSPACE
YET!! - assemble all
graphics and template in tray first.
The only thing that should
be on workspace is the "square"
I brought over a graphic
that I want to use to fill the square
I click on square and
then "Photo Effects, then Color or Texture,
then Fill with Color
or Texture
Next I will choose to
filI with a "picture"
and will choose the graphic
from the tray
to use as the background
fill for the square.
This is the square with
background image, I will drag other
images from tray to add
to the square
For this example I want
to apply graphics in front of
the tic tac toe grid.
So at this point I drag the template image
of the tic tac toe template
and resize over background.
And then I will finish
dragging images from tray to layer over
this background and ttt
template
I like to leave a bit
of white around image for final printing
you may choose to print
out as is or crop to final size, or
choose any save or printing
function you would like with
your final graphic creation
That's all folks....!
